STEAM Discovery Camps (Owen Brown & River Hill) $345/wk

LEGO® Camps (Howard County Recreation & Parks) $199/wk per half day session

We’ve partnered with the River Hill Community Association and the Owen Brown Community Association to run Head of STEAM Discovery Camps at Claret Hall and Owen Brown Community Center. 

These camps are designed around exploration of the five STEAM disciplines—Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. Each day focuses on a different discipline with hands-on activities and creative challenges. Every week features new projects, so campers can attend multiple weeks without repeating activities.

Also hosted at Owen Brown Community Center, this camp combines learning how games are made with structured gameplay in a positive and supportive environment. Campers spend part of the day building or modifying games using a “remix” approach that helps beginners succeed while still giving advanced designers room to expand their skills.

The other part of the day focuses on playing and competing in popular games, with coaching around teamwork, sportsmanship, and digital citizenship. We’ve designed the camp to balance the appeal of games with meaningful social interaction and skill development.

We’re a trusted vendor for Howard County Recreation & Parks and operate the Head of STEAM LEGO® camps at recreation centers and schools throughout the county for all nine weeks of summer.

Each week has a different theme and includes structured build challenges, freestyle building time, and collaborative projects. Campers also work together on a large group build aligned with the weekly theme—for example, creating a giant LEGO mosaic of Godzilla.
